Family Promise of Montgomery County
Family Promise of Montgomery County was founded in 2001 to serve homeless families in the area of Montgomery County,Texas, by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance. Family Promise receives vital assistance from 15 churches in Montgomery County.
The Vision
Family Promise of Montgomery County will be a premier
organization recognized for providing shelter for homeless families with
children, which leads them to successful independent living. To do this
we will be a well-funded, properly staffed, compassionate organization
that encourages and recognizes volunteer commitment. We will be
advocates for low-income housing and we will make more services
available by increasing size of the existing church network. Working
with all interested parties, our ultimate goal will be to eliminate
homelessness for families with children in Montgomery County.
