Marilyn Kasmiersky
Executive Director
Marilyn attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate degree, and additional certifications were obtained from Loyola University in Stephen’s Ministry, Business Etiquette from the Protocol School of Washington, John Maxwell Training, and a Public Relations certification in New York.

Robin Lupole
Fund Development Manager
Robin Lupole was born, raised, and educated in New York State, where she developed a lifelong commitment to advocacy and service. Throughout her career, Robin has been a passionate champion for underserved communities, dedicating her time and energy to advancing human and animal rights. She is deeply engaged in local civic life and has actively supported initiatives and campaigns focused on social justice, equity, and community well-being.
Although Robin has called Texas home for nearly two decades, New York will always hold a special place in her heart. She is the proud mother of two accomplished children—her daughter, Danielle, who lives in Austin, and her son, Cory, who attends the University of Missouri (Mizzou).
Robin resides in The Woodlands, where her home is happily shared with a lively crew of rescued animals: Gilgamesh, a Great Dane–Pit Bull mix; Phoebe, a Pit Bull; and Enkidu, her cat. In her free time, Robin serves on an animal welfare board and is a certified foster parent for the State of Texas, continuing her commitment to protecting and uplifting the most vulnerable. Her compassion, leadership, and dedication to service are at the heart of everything she does.
Whitney Vasquez
Community Engagement Coordinator
Whitney Vasquez serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Family Promise of Montgomery County, where she leads donor relations, event planning, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships to support families experiencing homelessness.

Whitney brings over a decade of leadership experience in nonprofit and community programming, including previous roles at the YMCA of Greater Houston. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and is passionate about building systems, relationships, and strategic partnerships that strengthen families and the broader community.
​
With a background in outreach, program management, and volunteer coordination, Whitney thrives at connecting people to purpose — whether through fundraising events, collaborative partnerships, or community education initiatives.

As a working mom, Whitney deeply understands the challenges families face and is committed to ensuring that every parent and child who walks through Family Promise’s doors is met with dignity, structure, and opportunity.
Tiffany Hankerson
Case Manager
Tiffany brings a lot of experience in her role as case manager. She is highly motivated with a strong work ethic and interpersonal communication that leads to our family’s success in meeting their goals. She has experience working within Montgomery County developing relationships and resources.

Her organization, time management and problem assessment/conflict- resolution skills are an asset.
Catherine Scheffler
Volunteer Coordinator
Catherine is a proud Longhorn from The University of Texas at Austin and is a recent retiree of 27 years with Conroe ISD, where she served as an Elementary Math Interventionist and RtI Coordinator. A long-time volunteer with Family Promise, she is excited to be joining the team in her role as the Community Engagement Coordinator. Her excellent communication, planning and organizational skills will help her better serve the needs of the families in our program.
