Family Promise of Montgomery County is a volunteer-driven organization. Led and governed by volunteers, they are the heart of all of the services provided. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
HELP WITH MEALS
When a host facility is not available to shelter our families, we pay for our program participants to stay in a hotel. We are in need of volunteers to help prepare meals and deliver them to our families. Learn more
DAY CENTER RECEPTIONISTS
Light clerical work, including initial phone interviews with potential families. Answering phones, filing, and some interaction with families in the program make this a special job at the Day Center.
DAY CENTER MAINTENANCE
The Day Center, located near Downtown Conroe, is a wonderful environment for our families. It is a home, built in 1935, that includes all the amenities of a home in any neighborhood. Maintenance work such as cleaning gutters, painting, and small repairs are always needed. If you have these skills, we NEED you!
HOST CONGREGATION VOLUNTEERS
Each and every one of our network congregations needs volunteers. So if you are interested in being an evening or overnight host, driving our families, doing laundry, babysitting during Life Skills classes and YOUR church is one of our network partners please contact the church office. (Note: list of network churches may be found on this website under the “About Us” tab)
