Many clients that come to Family Promise have no vehicles or have vehicles that are in very poor condition. Often the condition is such that the cost of making the vehicle roadworthy greatly exceeds the value of the vehicle.

Donated vehicles are inspected and fixed as needed by a group of volunteers with expertise in this area.

If you are considering trading in your vehicle, or if you find yourself with a spare unused vehicle, please consider donating it to Family Promise. A reliable vehicle can make the difference between employment and unemployment, between self-sufficiency and dependency on social services.

Donation of a vehicle qualifies as a tax deduction. The donor will receive a receipt with which to claim the fair market value of the vehicle.
