Family Promise 2011 Snapshot
As we launch 2012, Family Promise can look back on our accomplishments of the past year with a sense of accomplishment. We successfully graduated 9 families into the community, the highest number in the past 3 years! A new “signature” event, Cardboard City, was introduced to our network as a major fundraiser, as well as a tool to build awareness and understanding of the obstacles our families face. Our dedicated congregations stand strong at 15 in number, and their hundreds of volunteers serve literally thousands of hours each year providing shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance to our families. And the significant donations made by our supporters will assist us in retiring the debt on The Day Center in the coming year. That continued support is much needed, and you may make contributions via our “Donate Now” button on our website or mail check to Family Promise, P.O. Box 692, Conroe, TX 77305.
